Danielle is an author, advocate, and aspiring academic looking to grapple with one of the world’s oldest and most widespread issues: poverty. She enjoys contributing to projects related to African diaspora finance, community-based development, and educational equity.

Danielle has worked on four continents (Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America), gaining professional experience in a diverse range of fields including asset management, investment banking, business development, public policy, technology, agriculture, and international relations, developing innovative solutions at the nexus of finance and social change.

With a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in International Finance and Development from SOAS, University of London, Danielle has supported critical projects globally and raised awareness about poverty alleviation through her book, blog articles, and scholarship fund.

Throughout her work, she has received such honorable distinctions as the first undergraduate Rising Star award in the Trott Business Program and her selection as a Kimpton Fellow.

When she is not discussing extreme poverty and wealth inequality, you may find her updating her fun, fashion-focused Instagram account.
