Uplift and Empower Scholarship Application 2024

Hello everyone! 

The Uplift and Empower scholarship application is now LIVE! 🎉🎉🎉

Like last year, you can access the scholarship application via the PEFMC scholarship portal. (https://grantsforideas.pefmc.org/)

The deadline for applications is April 1st. 🎓

This year, PEFMC scholarships require a Grade Report form and additional details related to financial need. However, for the Uplift and Empower Scholarship, a student’s active commitment to improving the Ocala community is crucial to the selection process. So, all students are encouraged to apply!

Thanks to the generosity of the Uplift and Empower community, the fund will award six (6) $500 scholarships to Marion County Public High School seniors, along with one year of career-specific mentorship support. 

I recently sent check-in emails to last year’s winners about their mentorship pairings, and it is always exciting to hear their updates. I can’t wait to see who wins this year!
