Uplift and Empower Scholarship Update: The Winners!

Congratulations to the first winners of the Uplift and Empower Scholarship: Krishma Patel and Victoria Ortiz! 

After a very competitive application process, the Uplift and Empower Scholarship committee members were ecstatic to select these two well-deserving Vanguard High School seniors. 

Krishma Patel plans to attend the College of Central Florida to study Health Sciences with a Biological Health Science Concentration. 

Victoria Ortiz plans to attend the College of Central Florida to study either Physical Therapy or Nursing. 

In lieu of an in-person Evening of Excellence event in Ocala to celebrate, both winners will be featured in the Ocala Star-Banner on May 23rd in the graduation section. Don’t forget to pick up a copy of the paper to see their names listed!
