Uplift and Empower Scholarship | 2025 Winners

It’s the best time of the year! The winners of the Uplift and Empower scholarship have been selected. This year, the Uplift and Empower scholarship selection committee chose SIX amazing students! 🎉

Congratulations to Casey Holland, Alexandra Laciuga, Keturah Lafontant, Micah Linzy, Isabella Raistrick, and Kendall Reese! 🎉

📚 Casey Holland (Forest High School) plans to major in Digital Arts and Sciences to pursue a career in the video game industry as a game designer, producer, or quality assurance tester.

📚 Alexandra Laciuga (Vanguard High School) plans to major in Biological Sciences to pursue a career as a physician.

📚 Keturah Lafontant (Lake Weir High School) plans to major in Biology to pursue a career as a physician, focusing on radiology and anesthesiology.

📚 Micah Linzy (Lake Weir High School) plans to major in nursing to pursue a career in medicine.

📚 Isabella Raistrick (West Port High School) plans to major in Health Sciences on a nursing track to pursue a career as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. 

📚 Kendall Reese (Vanguard High School) plans to major in mechanical engineering to pursue a career as an engineer.

Each winner will receive a $500 scholarship and mentorship support during their first year of college. These students truly embody the values of Uplift and Empower as they positively contribute to their communities while balancing school, work, and extracurricular activities.
